I was about to convert the disk to a dynamic disk as this was recommended online as a way to make it possible to extend the volume, but I decided against it when I saw this message saying I would no longer be able to dual boot. I have tried extending the Windows 7 volume in Windows 7 and in Windows 10 and the extend volume option was greyed out either way.
